Whitetail Deer Hunting, with Anderson Outfitters, can be one of the most enjoyable and challenging experiences available to any hunter. Our Whitetail hunts can also provide some of the nicest trophies available to the professional Whitetail Hunter.
While South Dakota is known predominantly for its Pheasant Hunting, one of its best kept secrets is the size of its Whitetail Deer. For years, our land has produced some of the nicest Whitetail Bucks in the country. We have a wide variety of habitat, which allows hunters to choose their preference from the following: CRP fields, Shelterbelts, Row Crops, Rolling Hills, Deep Ravines, Sloughs, and Pasture Land.
Anderson Outfitters offers both Archery and Rifle Hunts on several Eastern South Dakota properties. Our rut starts near the end of October, and runs through the middle of November. Unlike other states, our deer hunting remains extremely promising during the later portions of the season, as the deer migrate towards the shelterbelts and other cover the colder it gets, which makes for successful hunts deeper into the Hunting Seasons.
Archery hunters can obtain a license fairly easy, as South Dakota does not utilize a draw system for bow hunting licenses. Rifle hunters must draw through the South Dakota Game Fish and Parks, but due to the location of our properties, hunters can choose from multiple counties. Archery hunters must get their license online prior to their hunt; we suggest you obtain the license 30 days before your hunt.
Anderson Outfitters does not charge any trophy fees, or any other hidden fees for its hunts. We also work very hard, to schedule hunts based on the capabilities of our land and deer. We plan on keeping this environment balanced and will only allow a certain number of Deer Hunters onto our properties, per season.

* A 50% group deposit is required to secure reservations, and is non-refundable. In case of emergency, unused deposits may be used within the same year's season, if open dates are available. Reservation dates are not secured until Anderson Outfitters, LLC receives the deposit. Final balance is due upon arrival, before hunting or fishing begins.
