Elk hunting with Anderson Outfitters, is one of the most rugged, yet rewarding hunts available to any hunter. Elk are said to be the "Ghost in the Timber", and while this may be true, we are proving that even they, can't avoid our field guides. Creating some of the nicest trophies, these majestic creatures require hunters to be conditioned in-order to master the habitat for which they roam. We offer elk hunts in two locations, South Dakota, and Colorado.
Hunters can choose from two types of hunts and multiple price ranges. We offer pen/pasture raused Elk in S.D. and wild Rocky Mountain Elk in Colorado. You have the benefit of guides with years of experience at both locations.
Whether you are seeking a rifle or archery hunt, we can accommodate your desires. Elk produce some of the best wild meat a person can eat, but like buffalo, there is a lot of it; therefore, we recommend driving to meet up with your field guide, as shipping can become very expensive.
Dates for these hunts can be very strict, so we recommend that you book your hunt a year in advance to provide the time needed for licensure, physical preparation, and to ensure the availability of these hunts.
